Rebecca's book on Finches
I spent four months living in Australia back in 1998. It was amazing experience and my flatmate kept an amazing array of Australian finches. This was my first introduction to how amazingly dedicated you have to be in order to breed some of these brilliantly colored species. A dedicated finch enthusiast knows enough about the natural history of their birds to put most of us to shame. Someday I would like to have an aviary of my own. In the meantime, I explored all of the options in this little book from TFH/Animal Planet on finches.
