I love palms! I’ve been fortunate enough to work with one at NEI. They are just incredible, smart, and unique creatures. They are neck-and-neck with the kea for my favorite psittacine.
I’ve only had the opportunity to work with one black palm (likely the one you worked with only years ago), but I’ve always been fascinated by them.
YES!!!! LOVE IT….
i met a black palm in person. two of them. My vet had them in her office one day. Amazingly beautiful birds.
Got to meet my first hyacinths there too! and hawkheads and i could just sit in her office all day long.
But man o man!!! seeing a black palm made my year.
